How the “no-fly list” terrorist got on the plane!

Despite being on the no-fly list the Times Square terrorist made it onto the jetliner heading for the United Arab Emirates Monday night. The airplane was ordered to return to the terminal so that federal authorities could take him into custody.

Faisal Shahzad was aboard Emirates Flight 202 having reserved a ticket that evening. He paid cash for his ticket at the airport and he was not stopped as he passed security. Shahzad was sitting comfortably in his Emirates seat waiting for take-off when a Customs official recognized Shahzad’s name on the passenger list and ordered the jet’s pilots to return to the gate.

Shahzad admitted he was the Times Square car bomber. He was trained in Waziristan at a terror camp in that rough and tumble region of Pakistan. How many more of these guys are we going to miss their targets? And how lucky are we that they are the “gang that can’t bomb straight?”

Reportedly, Shahzad, is a Pakistani-born immigrant who is now a naturalized U.S. citizen. He was charged with terrorism and the additional charge of  ‘attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction.’ It was said that he confessed to buying the vehicle on Craig’s list and he was responsible for the homemade bomb.
