About email to ArizonaRepugnant and comments on Hayworth and McCain

Over the last couple of days I have received several emails 5that were not favorable to JD Hayworth and were favorable to John McCain. A couple of the emails walk a tightrope with regard to slander. I will allow people to post their opinion up to a point. That goes for both sides of the issue.

I respect Senator John McCain for his courage and service to our country. He shined for years in a situation where I dare say I have my doubts about my ability last even a while. I was referred to as a Viet Nam era sailor. That means I served in the Navy during the time frame of that conflict, but never in Viet Nam, nor the seas there, nor the countries near there. But I endured the taunts and insults of the protesters of that time. I think of those vicious, spitting, hippy snakes every time I see Nancy Pelosi, Not-So Hairy Reid, and that other woman, oh, yes, Dianne Feinstein.

But Senator McCain served our country well. I add my thanks to him for that. In many ways John McCain has an enviable record in the Senate. But they are not the ways that are meaningful to me.

I think the Maverick moniker is crap. McCain has been a go-along-to-get-along, consensus building leader. (Well, he has been a bit of everything -switching loyalties from this side to that side of an issue.) Pick a decade and you have a different McCain than if you picked a different decade.

I will expound on this later as this piece is a broad look at the potential race. Hayworth has been hit hard by the Arizona Republic acting as a shill for Senator McCain. The kind of accusations that strike at an emotional response kind of like the woman who called JD a “boozer” in her email. To me those remarks mean nothing, but there are people who see that and stop thinking.

Why should a person believe these personal attacks? You do not know the attacker. You do not know if all these emails were written by different people or all written by the same person (or three people) who may be a volunteer for John McCain’s campaign. So, you should not believe random accusations posed by anonymous letter writers. I think they are kind of fun and spirited.

As we get anti-McCain emails you should have some skepticism there, too.

Back to the Maverick: John McCain has staked out positions on every side of most issues. That makes me ask, John, what do you really believe? Do you really believe in the bills you have co-sponsored that have cost taxpayers dearly, even while you claim to keep down spending. When you have been in favor of an opinion and then changed to be against that opinion and then changed back for no apparent reason – how are we to now we can trust your campaign promises because you get so MAVERICKY to quote a letter writer. Which John Mccain will show up today? With whom will McCain align himself this term? And hey, I don’t have any great feeling of Conservative love from Lindsey Graham or Joe Lieberman. I am all about Conservatism and not the George W. Bush brand of Conservatism. I am going to kick ass and take names to help save the country.
(P.S. – John you are saying that you are the line in the sand when it comes to stopping Obama. I want you to know that I truly appreciate your help. But Obama is so ridiculously far left that you cannot get “Conservative” brownie points from opposing him. That is a slam dunk for a moderate.

Obama’s change is so radical that you would forfeit your honorable place in history if you supported his radical change. I think that you know the demagoguery of George W. Bush that is the daily vespers of the Obama administration. You know that is wrong , too. So, standing up against Obama is a lot like standing up against your Viet Nam captors.

I will get more specific in this next week. How can John McCaain convince me that he will not say one thing a do another if we elect him to the Senate again?
