It is just a damn shame that people refuse to accept responsibility for their actions. It happens every day. People making excuses just because they want to have the easy life their way and they want it now. People blaming everyone but themselves and their own GREED for the law coming after them. Greedy Mexicans cross the border and make their way to cities like Phoenix even though there are laws against that behavior.

And then there are the useless idiots on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors such as, Mary Rose Wilcox also a Hispanic ‘activist’. You see if you put the word ‘activist’ on your resume that excuses you from any responsibility for enabling  foreign national scofflaws. How it is that a County elected official can flaunt the lawman with statements, lies really, like, “All he is doing is going after everybody with a brown face. There’s no doubt in my mind that this is racial profiling. None.”

That is because Mary Rose is not endowed with much of a mind. She has torn down historic buildings contrary to the law and nothing is done about that. Mary Rose is well connected and because they all know she will pull out the ‘race card’ she gets a little more leeway. For a normal person you would think that eventually she will get what is coming to her, but no.

Another useless idiot is Phoenix and World Mayor, Phil Gordon, who is unabashedly an ‘open borders’ advocate. If you are illegal and will work cheap, you are good enough for Mayor Gordon (See Recall Mayor Gordon here). Open Borders Phil says, “the sheriff’s ‘made-for-TV stunts’ have not stopped illegal immigration and violate the basic civil rights afforded all people in the United States.

“It’s a single standard,” Gordon said. “If you’re brown, you’re going to be pulled over, and if you’re white, you’re not. Phil Gordon has a very low opinion of people if he thinks this works as evidence that he is right.

It is as though the Kooks Klueless Klan is beating on Sheriff Joes’ door…I would not call them a Klan, but for the fact that they cannot shut up and let justice proceed. Justice does not need a public relations onslaught to work. Justice does not require the constant drumbeat of incendiary rhetoric to be more fair (if there is such a thing as ‘more fair’.) Fair is fair.

The ACLU attorney said on the radio interview that the Sheriff does not stop white people often enough and the Sheriff “targets Latinos.” If it were I, I would expect illegals to be Mexicans. Remember, and I admit this is really simplistic, American citizen Latinos cannot be illegals. I mention that because these ‘activists’ start painting with a broad brush then they get the spray machine going and truth suffers.

Sheriff Joe is engaged in serious business. His deputy sheriffs are stopping cars which do not comply with the law, cracked windshields and so on. Then, it is up to the driver or occupant of the car to produce identification – real ID. That is it – pony up the ID.

This is not a witch hunt – focus on that phrase for a minute. ‘Witch hunt’, hunting for witches. How do you prove you are not a witch? It’s pretty darned tough. All Sheriff Joe is doing is asking people to prove the are authorized to drive the vehicle which is defective or it would not be stopped by the deputies. There is no witch hunt going on in Maricopa County.
